The Future of Health: Burdens, Challenges, and Opportunities Workshop

The Future of Health: Burdens, Challenges, and Opportunities was an interdisciplinary workshop held at Cambridge Judge Business School on 12-13 July 2006. It brought together academics, policymakers and practitioners, who presented new research and new thinking on areas relating to public health and health improvement from different disciplinary perspectives. For example, papers were presented on cost-effectiveness of public health interventions, issues of definition and measurement of outcomes, issues around evidence and evaluation, changes in demography and society and their implications. These papers form the basis of the forthcoming book.
